this time without a typo, different from my usual style, but i felt compelled to write it
edit: i’m sorry if this is depressing or strikes a nerve, but i felt compelled to write it. some of us* grow up thinking everyone and everything around us is “normal,” and then we’re molded into this person with messed up perspectives until someone on the outside shakes us and tells us that’s not how things are supposed to be. just because it happens, or because someone else says it’s just how things are, doesn’t mean it’s how things have to be for you.
